Fixing the Processes

Every process in every business, e.g., invoicing, recruiting, management reporting, sales and marketing, and information technology, as well as every manufacturing process, has opportunities for increasing productivity and reducing costs.

Process efficiencies are achieved by reducing cycle time…the time it takes to do things…and reducing rework. Reducing cycle time automatically reduces inventories and overall costs. Reducing cycle times also requires cooperation across all “silos” of a company. The rewards are significant.
